We’ve all been there—gearing up for fall with unrealistic expectations, only to crash two weeks in.
It’s easy to think you can do the work of three women, but guess what?
You’re amazing just as you are.
Here are three self-care techniques to help you avoid burnout this fall:
1. Go to Bed Early: It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s effective.
Prioritizing sleep can transform your energy levels and mood.
Try setting a bedtime and sticking to it.
You deserve rest.
2. Be Realistic with Your Time and To-Do List: It’s okay to say no.
Overloading yourself leads to stress and burnout.
Make a realistic to-do list and give yourself grace when you can’t do it all.
Your best is enough.
3. Leave Room for Your Emotions: Instead of numbing out, allow yourself to feel.
Journaling, talking to a friend, or even just sitting quietly can help you process your emotions.
It’s okay to feel whatever you’re feeling.
