I've been talking on social media about how it's normal to feel a little quiet, introspective, and even "blah" about the New Year and your resolutions.
I know.
This doesn't sound like normal "life coach rah-rah-rah" talk.
But you probably know by now that I'm not a "normal" coach,
and that's why my clients get transformative results.
So if you're feeling a bit intimidated or indifferent thinking about resolutions or goal-setting, let me show you what's probably going on.
1. The goals are "repeat offenders" - You've set these goals before and didn't get the results you wanted. And you're probably reminding yourself of this fact often.
2. You have very low energy and unpleasant emotions around the goals - Either you're "not feeling it"
or you feel:
bad or
angry or
regretful or
overwhelmed
every time you think about or attempt the goal.
3. You're telling yourself old, stinky stories about yourself - You know what I mean. The negative self talk. Playing the blame game (either by blaming yourself or circumstances or other people)
This is the:
This will never happen for me.
I'm undisciplined.
I don't know where to start.
I'm overwhelmed.
My family just "undoes" everything I try to do.
I don't have the skills, time, energy, money, motivation, etc to do this.
I'll never "get it together".
I can feel the STINK coming off these thoughts even as I type this!!!
Can I tell you one more thing?
Your issue probably has little to do with your game plan/strategy.
Often we think if we pick just the right book, or program, or diet, we'll have it made.
But here's the kicker...
We often revert back to the old stories, emotions, and energy within a few weeks of January 1st.
That's the sticking point, not the actual plan of attack.
(and yes, I help clients tweak their plans, but it's not usually a big overhaul.
It's the mindset/emotions/energy that we overhaul to make the transformation.)
The good news?

No more banging your head against the wall trying to white knuckle your way through.

Did women join us during the 2 busiest weeks of the year? (The week before and the week of Christmas)
